My oh so sweet Jaycon Jones is officially potty-trained. It has blown me away! It all started last Sunday after church. I figured we'd try it out. If didn't work out, there was always next month. To my astonishment, he took to it like a champ! Of course at night he's still in a diaper. He does wake up about twice a night to go to the bathroom but I can't quite take the diaper away.
As nice as it is, reality is beginning to hit. This is it. No more babies. We're slowly moving into the next phase of life. It's definitely bitter-sweet.

Why the name? Sooo nice that he's pretty much out of diapers....what a smarty pants (no pun intended)!
yes, the bittersweetness...mostly only sweetness for not changing diapers but no more babies? its sad. yesterday my sil gave me a bunch of baby clothes back that i had lent to her. it made me feel sad to see those darling little things and know i just needed to give them away and not keep them for another baby for me. but it is so fun that all 3 kids were big enough to ride bikes on the trail while i ran today. so, its an exciting stage, too, huh?
